Saved myself a call-out fee for 10 minutes of work with this handy little tool. Very simple operation. Just connect between the antenna and cable. Then adjust the antenna in all directions until you get max reading on the meter. Fasten antenna morning bolts again and voila! Job done.

I spend two days before I had the Arial King Satellite Finder to try and locate the IS 20 satellite. I was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
When I received the Satellite Finder, I installed it in the LNB coax as instructed. I first did a horizontal sweep to the direction of the satellite and I found it, I maximised the signal strength and locked the screws. Then I did the same with the elevation and locked it.
The whole operation took me about 15 minutes and I had a strong signal on the TV and I could see my channels clearly.

No need to get many times up and down on a ladder. With this AERIAL KING SATELLITE FINDER I got up on the ladder once and did the adjustments to the lnb and dish. I got a satellite signal of 96% and 100% clarity. How’s that for self install?

I had poor dstv reception,signal strength was at 63% and dropped to zero at times,a normal dstv repair(call out) amounts to R400+,then after the next storm it is problems again,i have a signal strength of 92% after I used the sattelite finder,never had such a strong signal

We recently moved to new location deep in the mountains up the west coast. DsTV decoder plus dish antenna, bracket I took with me. Tried for days to locate satellite (Intelsat 20) with elevation/ azimuth/ LNB skew info from dish pointer.com to no avail. Phoned ‘installer’ who wanted over a R1,000 to tune dish… then never called back! Then I phoned ‘well known’ Cape Town electronics company who said they do stock a ‘satellite seeker’ but is ‘out of stock’ (how I hate that!), but… will be in stock end of week (how I hate that!). They will contact me when in stock. Haha! No call or emails from them… now running into second week! Then I saw the fantastic Just Electronics website with a choice of stax satellite finders available at major cheaper price than the aforementioned Piet Promises in Cape Town. I paid online and decided on the 1-2 days Aramex Courier option. I was totally taken by surprise with on the hour email updates and tracking details on my purchase and 200% gob-smacked to hear Aramex courier van ‘toot-toot’ outside my property deep in the mountains… exactly TWO days later! Then proof of pudding… connected the Aerial King satellite finder and WITHIN 48 seconds (my wife timed me) I found the highest beep and meter reading. Locked the bracket and voila! All stations crisp and clear with 100% signal quality and 88% strength. Just Electronic Rocks! Definitely going to mail all friends and colleagues JE’s website and email info.
