You don’t need to worry about that problem any more. This converter changes the lamp socket so it will allow you to use the bayonet cap bulbs in lamps having screw type bulb fitting.

Just Electronics also have converters for small to big Screw connectors (E14/E27). Just make sure there is space for the extra height in your fittings.

One can just keep a bunch of bayonet type led bulbs and then they will fit on most fittings.
